I recently downloadaed the latest NVIDIA drivers and was surprised to see an
IE pop up blocker included in the Desktop Manager under
Applicatons/Enhancements. It was turned off by default, but I suppose it's a
possibility.
You might also try uninstalling the Google Toolbar.

He sent me to an internet site (I have IE) that he knew had 2 pop-ups and
sure enough, no pop-ups appeared.  He concluded that I still had an active
pop-up blocker.  Can someone tell me how to find where this pop-up blocker
might reside so that it can be removed/disabled and I can continue with my
lessons.
