I emailed you earlier because my email messages were being sent 8-10 times
(duplicates); now I am getting no new messages and when trying to do
anything in my mail area I get the message "Your POP3 server has not
responded in 60 seconds. Would you prefer to wait 60 seconds and retry or
stop?".
I've tried doing both things and when I choose "retry" the messages just
comes up again in 60 seconds and the "stop" choice doesn't produce any
effect.
I have not gotten any NEW mail since before I sent you the message, which
was about 3 hours ago. Sometimes when I go offline, a box will come onto
the screen saying OE is trying to retrieve my messages from my ISP
(winfinity). It shows a half completed green line with 8of 24 messages
retrieved (the last time it appeared) but the line isn't moving.
Thanks,
Kathleen Hammond
Can anyone out there assist me? Of course I'm not sure how I will get the
information but I'm going to PSOFT's website and OE's website when I find
them.
I am able to get online for short periods but the movement is very slow. I
have had difficulties with this ISP (they tell me their modem ratio is 1:8
and is "definitely" not providing for too many subscribers) being kicked
offline after 2-3 minutes of reading or writing (not surfing).
Thanks,
Kathleen Hammond
