I have not seen a reply so thought I would give it a try. I am running XP
Pro with Russian language enabled. I can send and receive e-mail, use Word,
or other applications using either, English or Russian with no difficulty.
Have never used Win 98 (or 95) for my main system, so can't share the
language experience under that environment. Did you install the necessary
fonts to support the Ukrainian language?

Hi list,
How can I fix these problem:
1)My computer (Win98Se) can't display correctly language (Ukrainian) in
system tray(Over the clock). When I point the mouse on the clock it displays
only "???????" but not Ukrainian language. In the Keyboard in control panel
when I choose Ukrainian by default I get a message: "Windows could not
choose the default language because it does not match the character set
(code page) that your computer is currently using.Choose another
language".In Region and language settings in control panel I have already
chosen Ukrainian. 2)I can't write in Ukrainian in Yahoo Messenger (WinXP
Pro). Thanx in advance. Regards, Huynh Minh Huong
