I don't do a lot of cd burning, but the most common issues I have seen
involve trying to put too many files onto a cd (number of files, not the
space limits) or the cd isn't prepared properly. CD burner software
'prepares' the cd by formating it and then you can write files to it or
drag and drop files to it, creating a directory when you are finished.
There is a limit to the number of files because each file requires a
directory entry (256 max?) and the software can't create the FAT entries
needed.
If these don't seem to be your issues, try to copy the file to another
folder on the hard drive. Are you able to burn cd's with other files?
If those steps work, perhaps an email to the list, listing step by step
what you do before you get the message will give more information as to
what's wrong.
