This sounds like a variation of a virus I have seen in the
past, are you running a current version of an anti-virus
program? Most anti-virus software is updated monthly. You
will need to boot from a known clean diskette and run the
anti-virus software from a known clean diskette.

Backup everything of any importance to either diskette or
tape.

Have you run scandisk? If the FAT is corrupted, scandisk
will attempt to repair it. If Dr. Solomon crashes, scandisk
probably will also, but its worth a try.
