Hi Amado & Alan,
        I have been using Norton 3 (Now up to 3.04), and don't think that's the
culprit although I agree with Amado it's quite buggy.  Alan, go to My
Computer--View--Folder Options, and experiment with the settings there.
I am running IE4.01 with the Active Desktop and do not have the problems
you describe (although I may have worked that bug out with one of the
early Betas).
