When trying to switch users in WinXP Home edition I got the message that a program associated with EPGINA.dll was preventing the switching and that the program should be uninstalled. Having no idea what program was associated with it I did a search for the named .dll I found it as a solitary file in a sub-folder of Windows, maybe System32. Long story short is I deleted it and had to reformat and reinstall the OS because Windows would not completely load. Prior to deleting, a Google search for this DLL only produced message boards with comments stating to reinstall the OS but no other explanations, especially what would occur if it were simply deleted and no mention of which program it is associated with. Is anyone here familiar with this DLL, the program it would be associated with and the problems that occur secondary to its deletion? Word of caution: DON'T DELETE THIS DLL UNLESS YOU HAVE BACKED UP ALL YOU WANT TO SAVE AND ARE PREPARED TO REFORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE!!
