After setting up dial-up networking on a friends computer, a problem has

come up.
Logging on to the ISP works fine, also sending mail is functioning
properly, however when trying to use Internet Explorer we are unable to
connect to any URL,s.
We are using IE 3.02, so then Netscape 4.04 was installed, but with the
same result.
Where am I going wrong?. Every thing works fine on my system, but
refuses to work on his, which is a new 200Mhz computer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just to give my thanks to the responders to the above and inform that
the problem
was solved with a late posting from the ISP to set up the connection
through a
proxy server.
It helps to have all the required information at the start.
Now they are surfing like a pro.
