What is the equivalent of msconfig for Win95? I need to turn off a bunch
of things on my home PC and can't seem to get to a utility like the
Win98 msconfig... Thanks

Here is an application from Scott Wainner who has an e-letter(SysOpt

AppPaths
Y'know all those programs that start with your system, but don't
show up on the Start Up menu? AppPaths provides an easy way to
remove these annoyances, without having to locate them within
the registry and removing them yourself. After downloading and
unzipping, you move the files to the Windows System directory.
After that, a new entry, Application Paths, appears in your
Control Panel. Click on it, and you're presented with lists of
programs that are initialized on system startup, plus all
programs registered in Windows. You can modify or delete programs
in a flash. Written by Gregory Braun, and it's free!
