I am shopping for a new laptop during the after Christmas sales and I see many of the laptops come with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit as the operating system. My current desktop machine is running Windows XP Professional 32 bit. What are the benefits and disadvantages of buying a machine with the 64 bit OS? Thanks for your help.
