I have software called HomeStyles HOMEDESIGNS ENCYCLOPEDIA (CDW1-1)
installed on my computer. It works in conjunction with a CD. Recently I
have not been able to access the graphic images that show the different
house plans. So I figured I would reinstall it. I type in
E:\HS\SETUP\SETUP.EXE in the RUN dialog box on Windows 98, hit OK, and I
get a box that says "Initializing Setup." This is immediately followed by
an error message that says something like "Could not open file:
E:\HS\SEllllclll\VER.DL_"
When I go into Windows Explorer and try to open up anything in the
E:\HS\SETUP subfolder I get a similar message. Is my CD damaged, or is
there another way out of this? Thanks in advance.
