A follow-up on the unwanted popup window problem. Thanks to Kelly Younger's
suggestion to turn off scripting and Java in IE5, I was able to "survive"
another multiple popup adventure. This time it was not a porno site but a
music search that triggered it. It is a bit disheartening to learn that
other sites are adopting this very irritating technique. However, with the
Java and scripting set to prompt before run, it stopping the scenario was
only a few clicks away.

It is still a bit annoying to keep clicking "ok" to the scripting prompt
when I visit legitimate sites. What I think may be a good solution is to
have a button on IE that will toggle enable/disable scripting and Java. In
other words, some sort of macro. Does anyone know how to do macros on IE5?
