If Stedman uses a DIC file, then you should be able to
go to TOOLS -- OPTIONS -- SPELLING -- DICTIONARIES --ADD

If not, then this one might end up  being more work than it's worth, but....
If the old Word/Stedman combination allows editing the master
spelling list, maybe you can call up the data file in Word and then save it
as plain text.  ALL __custom__ dictionaries for Word are simply
plain text word lists.... one word per line... doesn't even have to
be in alphabetical order (but it does run faster if it is).

I'm leaving on a weeks vacation in a couple hours so don't bother writing
back to me.
