I am looking for a freeware/shareware preferred OCR capable application that will work under XP Professional 2002. I have a HP OfficeJet600 and after loading the XP drivers the OCR capability for scanning is gone because of licensing.

So, I am entertaining recommendations for replacement software packages. The Scansoft products are way too pricey for the light use that I'll give it.
