Bob, I, like many others obviously, am having the same scan disk problem.
Only mine happens on a restart and not on a cold start. I went to the above
site, downloaded the 6.2 file then had it load onto a floppy. I shut down, put
the floppy in, and did a cold start. When I got to the a: prompt and ran
scandisk it said I couldn't check drive c because it is a network drive. (C: is
connected via PCI ATA 100 card). I then tried to check D: (connected to primary
slot on mobo) and it too said I couldn't check it because it is a network
drive. What am I doing wrong?
