I used lost and found when I lost a partition on my new computer, and I
managed to recover about 95% of the files, but the problem is my old
computer. One day I found out my brother had been messing about with my PC
& it wouldn't boot up, the windows installation was corrupted with hundreds
of files missing. I seen no way of fixing it so I installed windows over
the top of the old one. When I got my PC working, much to my horror the
contents of my documents completely vanished, that's where I kept all of my
stuff (nearly 21 gig). The old PC has layed untouched for months & it still
works, but the problem is, when I use lost and found on my old PC there is
no where to store the recovered files as it only has 1 hard drive.
Partitioning the drive wasn't any help whatsoever. What I want to know is,
can/how can I set up my 2 PC's so that I can use my new PC to store the
recovered files using lost and found? Bear in mind I've got very little
cash.
