I understand and am aware of your point about two AV programs. They did play
well together for a long time like a couple of years. My guess is an update
by one or the other broke things and Deb and I started to experience
problems. Since MSE was the one that was having seizures it was the one to
go. MSE also did not originally include an antivirus if I recall correctly.

Yes, but it's a valid point about the second AV. I'm no expert but, I've
seen this before when people ask me for help on a similar problem and I find
they have 2 or more AV's running and fighting each other. I get them down to
one AV and it solves the problem.
