PCSOFT Digest - 5 Jan 2007 to 6 Jan 2007 (#2007-6)from what i gather, my mother has dowloaded a windows media player update and now writes she gets the following message:
"To finish installing Windows Media Player, restart your computer and then log on as as administrator or a member of the Administrators group." i many times logged off but the same notice comes back each time

and she is unable to use it.
what should she do to fix the annoyance. unfortunately i live in another country and can't get my hands on the pc. i've never used the remote assistance program xp provides.
thanks in advance,
laurence grignolo
