Changhsu P. Liu, on Thursday, February 24, 2000 1:53 AM was looking for a
backup program:

--> Based on what was described above, I am looking for a program that can
--> automatically make backup of certain folders on a drive to another HD at
--> certain intervals of time. This way, my documents folders will
--> always have
--> a mirror in another HD.

Try a program called Second Copy. It might just work for what you need.
Don't have the URL address handy but a search with any search engine or at
CNet's www.download.com should unearth it.

-->Secondly, I need to set my default "My
--> Documents"
--> to somewhere else than C:\My Documents.

You can use TweakUI to handle this. Go to the 'My Computer' tab. Look
under 'Special Folders' and in the dropdown box you can select and change
the location of almost any type of folder. But note I'm using Win2K's
TweakUI, the Win98SE version may have it under a different tab. Don't have
a 98 machine to check.

--> Lastly, I need to find
--> out a way to
--> use only one favorites folder (does it have to be in system
--> folder?), using
--> the same settings of Outlook on different systems.

Not entirely sure of this one but as Outlook is intertwined with IE,
changing the location of the Favorites folder using TweakUI *may* point
Outlook to the new location automatically. The only way is to try if the
above works for what you want.

BTW, as you are triple booting, you should be able to install the OS and
applications in different partitions but point them all to one location on a
designated partition for data.

Regards,
Richard
