I have some archived files(zip and pdf) backed up on a Nero-burned cd (pny
media; cheap stuff).  Can read CD; that is see directory
contents.  Recently found I was unable to extract (or even copy) from said
cd two files I need.  Other files on cd fine.  Tried a recovery application
called badcopy ($40).  App ran for 3 days on just one file, then reported
that it was unrecoverable.  Anyone have any suggestions.  TIA
