A few months ago Juno was giving a special on their Juno Gold.

Juno Gold is their Premium service and is bannerless.

Their special was $3.00/month and you could cancel the service if you
didn't like it.

I figured that $36.00 a year was little enough to pay to get rid of the
banners so I signed up.

It was worth it and I also get connected faster.

Don't know if it is still available, but it is worth a try.

A friend is using Juno, and hates all of the ads that take up so much

estate.  I believe I read that there is a free email/web program that
doesn't have banner ads.
