It is my understanding that Win95 can only "see" 2 GB at a time,
regardless of which version you have.  If you want to use the entire 8
GB as one drive, you would be best served to go to WindowsNT.  Most
Win95 programs will run on WindowsNT;  the only downside, IMHO, would be
the loss of plug-n-pray, which I believe is being put into NT in 5.0.
(This would basically be a downside only because you said it was for a
family PC)
