Use NAV's own uninstaller first...but don't (necessarily) stop there. Next,
if you feel ambitious, you should scan your hard drive for any mention of
Symantec or Norton AntiVirus and delete those folders (place them in the
recycling bin to be safe)...this assures that a subsequent reinstall won't
inherit old, leftover settings. I've taken this approach with a variety of
"glitched" software and it typically removes all the "bad habits" of prior
iterations.
