I have windows 98, 2nd edition installed.
My system has been running fine until recently.
How I find, for example, that I cannot play the Hearts game that comes
with Windows 98. The Hearts program simply hangs
after clicking on the program name.
I have to shutdown the computer to get rid of the Hearts program window.
To do this I have to close out various programs
by using the close dialog box. the file "msgsrv32" is always listed as
"not responding".
the computer seems to operate okay otherwise. Sounds play on startup
and shutdown. I cannot think of anything I have done
differently that could cause the program, except I did try out the
"ad aware " program.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
Ron
P.S. when I close down I also get a message that "Notification Wnd for
RNAdmin" is not responding.
