I have a Compaq Presario running Windows 98.  I can't open Internet Explorer.  I have attempted to repair IE, but it didn't take.  When I attempt to download, i.e., IE SP1 from Windows Update, the download occurs, and the indication is that the installation was successful--still, IE refuses to open.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
