Hi Gary -
You might try saving your word document in Rich Text Format (.rtf) and
your excel document in Data Interchange Format (.dif) before sending
them as e-mail attachments. Both of these formats can be read by most
word processing and spreadsheet apps. The messages get scrambled during
transfer a good portion of the time when using MSWord oe Excel...I
haven't had any trouble sending information in .rtf and .dif.
