This is purely guesswork, but this is the sort of message you sometimes get
when one DLL file has been replaced by an earlier or later version.

My guess is that something you've installed (not necessarily recently, if
the file hasn't been called up before) has replaced this DLL file with a
version that other software can't see. Although DLL's are usually
backwards-compatible, this isn't always the case. that's why, when
installing new programs, you often see the message asking whether you want
to overwrite a later file with an earlier version, and the normal
suggestion is to keep the later one.

Just occasionally, this can cause difficulties running some earlier program.

Maybe your CD requires a different version of this file. Which version is
anyone's guess.

The problem is usually overcome, or at least identified, by reinstalling
the software in which the error message is appearing.

You can Google for the file, and perhaps locate and download whichever
version is needed. With some of these files, there are many versions,
which doesn't help! Rename the existing Msdart.dll, and stick the new one
in the same location(s). It's most likely in the Windows/System32 folder,
but may be in other places as well. They may even be different
versions---with some luck, you might be able to juggle them around.

If it's only happening with music CD's, reinstall whatever program
(Winamp?) is trying to open to play it.

I'm not familiar with "Getiums", so this is only a guess. Try googling for
either name, see what turns up. Some forum is bound to have answers. Or try
searching the archives from this List.
