A new interesting problem has occurred while upgrading from WIN3.1 to WIN95b.

Background:

Before installation, Intel 200 mhz, 48 megs RAM Plenty of HDD space, over
420 Fonts installed, and a plethora of PM5 (Pagemaker 5) files. Computer is
networked with one other at a small magazine publisher's. All applications
working, and PM5 files printed without problem. Apps include Pagemaker 5.0,
Photoshop 3.0, Corel Fontmaster, Aldous Pagemaker, Word for Windows 6.0.,
OS: Win3.11.

After installation:

Main problem is that fonts will not show up in the principal programs of
Pagemaker 5.0 and Word 6.0, however when using the text tool in Photoshop I
am able to type text into an image in a font of choice without problem.

Some fonts can, and others cannot, be accessed when using text tool in a
new Pagemaker document. All previous saved data displays type as single
lines, and overlapping. . . and. . .will not print properly.

Fonts show up in C:\windows\fonts, and when I double click on a font it
displays properly.

Action taken:

Thought that the Corel Fontmaster program was at fault. . . deleted same.
It Had no
uninstall .exe, so had to remove manually. Yes, removed references from
win. ini, and all registry references.

Also tried to reduce number of installed fonts.

This has not helped at all. . . still have same problem.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???
