We have recently purchased a Sony Cybershot digital camera. After installing the
USB drivers and the viewing program that came with the camera, we took some pictures
and attached the camera to the cable that went into the USB. The directions say
to open "My Computer" and double click on the "Removable" drive which is what the
camera acts like. However, when I double click on it the message "Drive G: not
ready" comes up. Uninstalling and reinstalling the software doesn't help. In
the control panel, systems, drivers, it's not listed, so I can't delete the
drivers, even though I think deleting the drivers and reinstalling would solve
the problem. I probably skipped an instruction, but it shouldn't be that
difficult a problem to solve. I know it works because it's been installed on
another computer.
My computer is new: 800 megahertz, 256 mb RAM, 20 mb hard drive, etc. Can anyone
help?
Thanks,
Diana
