Laurel I got the same thing so I asked the question of Google and got quite a long list of suggestion and I used this one and it did the job. See below.  The Google  URL is i: http://digital-qa.blogspot.com/2012/02/how-to-remove-funmoods.html Goog luck, Lew How to Permanently Remove Funmoods Funmoods hijacked my browser after downloading an app that removes metadata from photos. I wasn't able to uninstall it via normal methods. I also wasn&rsquo;t able to use system restore (and received a &ldquo;Catastrophic failure&rdquo; message).

To remove funmoods, go into safe mode*, uninstall Chrome, and then re-install Chrome**.  Firefox users, see further below in the comments section.

How on earth do I get rid of the browser FUNMOODS. I got it somewhere,
