In my copy of Office 97 I created a shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSOFFICE.EXE"
in the StartUp Group to launch the Office Shortcut Bar on Startup. You'll
have to find where the MSOFFICE.EXE is located on your installation if you
are using Office 97.

My Office 2000 tool bar disappeared but I found it under Programs,
Microsoft Office Tools and it put it right back on my desk top. Didn't have
to run
setup.
