 Hiya,

Here's how to get that icon back in to your Accessories list. First of
all, restore the icon so that it is on your desktop, after you have done
that, right click on the icon and choose Cut. Next, right click on your
"Start" menu button, you will see several options, click on "Explore".

At this point you should see a Windows Explorer window open and "Programs"
as an option, double click on "Programs". You will then see your Accessories
menu, double click on "Accessories" and now you are where you want the icon
to be.

Go to the Edit menu at the top of the window, and choose "Paste". That's
it! Now the icon for WordPad is right back where it belongs. You are done.

Now, knowing that some people follow direction better in the form above,
and others in a numbered list, I will do the numbered list for you as well.

 1) Restore shortcut for WordPad to the Desktop
 2) Right Click on the Start Menu button
 3) (Left) Click on Explore
 4) Double (Left) Click on Programs
 5) Double (Left) Click on Accessories
 6) (Left) Click on the Edit menu on the top of the window
 7) (Left) Click Paste
 8) Done!

Hope this helps!

Somehow I ended up with my wordpad document on my desktop. It appears to
be a shortcut. But when I look in my program files it is gone from the
accessories list. Only notepad appears.
I deleted it to the recycle bin and then tried to restore it but when I do,
it only goes back to the desktop.
Can someone help me remove it and put it back where it belongs.? I
apologize, but I am still in the learning process !!
Thanks in advance,
Jannean Doster
