I believe that some web pages are scripted in code which forbids copying or
viewing source coding.

Cetainly one occasionally comes across a page where access to the source is
forbidden.

Perhaps the pages you are trying to copy are so limited.  Sometimes you can
get around it by doing a screen capture, if you have a suitable utility.
