Greg,
I'm not sure if this is true with every "Companion" CD, but all
the ones that I have seen, are missing the file "Setup.exe" thus
making the disk unable to install.
These CDs usually come with computers like Packard Bell, and HP,
which have their own restore CD. This way the computer doesn't
come with two copies of Windows.
