About the only thing different about the "type" of OEM version
you bought and a regular full Retail Version is that you can't move
the license (and the OS) to a different set of hardware if the
need arises (such as if the entire computer was destroyed).
And you took on the responsibility of full support. You only get
one or two free support calls with the Retail version anyway,
so I never considered that a big deal...

As far as Windows update and patches, etc... There is no difference.

Keep the OEM--Pre-install CD... (But, You may never need it...)
