Bob:
FAT32 is not all it's cracked up to be.  There are several reports of
problems with FAT32.  Moreover, if you run any older Dos apps you
could have trouble with some of those programs.  I would suggest
that you first check the documentation of any utility and antivirus
programs that you use to be sure that they support FAT32.

The conversion process is normally a oneway ticket although
Partition Magic will convert drives back to FAT16.   If you *have to
have* the extra disk space, FAT32 is a good way to go (providing
you don't run any older Dos apps that don't like FAT32), otherwise I
personally don't see the need to convert from FAT16.
