For some reason when I try to shut down Windows 2000 it takes a minute or more just to get to the shut down sequence (it use to shut down within 8 seconds before). When I click on shut down, a box comes up saying that it is "Saving your Settings" but nothing happens for usually a minute or more before it gets past that message to start shutting down. I have tried deleting all temp internet files, deleted cookies, deleted everything in task manager (processes) that could be deleted and even removed update patch Q329170 (previous post said to try that) with no results. This just started happening this past week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
