My apologies for not being as descriptive as Paul. I guess, in addition, I
would add that MP3 format seems to be the best way of storing music files.
Programs like Nero, Roxio and others will read and transfer the files back
to .WAV at whatever bitrate you wish. Usually, I save music at around
128kps, and that is mainly for size purposes since my storage is a 20gb hdd.
I understand that over 160kps is "near CD quality", so if (to coin a phrase)
size doesn't matter, the higher the bitrate, the better.

My apologies to "Inpersuit" for misreading the question. I'll try to pay
closer attention in the future.
