FTP server gives 550 Error any time when it is not possible write
file in server, like there already is file or folder with same name.
If user filename is not ASCII alphanumerals and systems are
like in your case different problems may caused by characters
and/or charsets. Seen this problem in LAN - user attempt write
files with names in russian from Win98 to Win2k. Result was that
in Win2k these files was not accessible and undeletable.
One more thing with filenames - Win95 ( i don't know about 98)
changed filenames when uploaded to FTP server - capitalized
first letter etc.
I have not used War FTP long time needed it once in Win2k and cant
access at all -used Win2k own server instead (part of IIS).
