Hi Diane,

This does not answer your question. It is just more information.

I am running Win98se on one computer and WinMe on another. Both are Dell
866 PIIIs with plenty of hard drive and 512 Meg of memory. I do not know
what all this talk about WinMe being troublesome or buggy. I have had both
systems for 18 months. I do not have much problem with either one. In
fact some of the features of WinMe seem to be quite handy to me. I run
Norton AV , Zonealarm, ICQ, AIM, Office97Pro(but I do not use the toolbar,
ever), WordPerfect 7,several graphic programs and a couple of CAD
programs. I stay away from Microsoft Updates entirely. I do not let any
auto update program run on either computer. Once a month I check out
Norton AV for updates. I have had a couple of hundred viruses attempt to
penetrate my system, but none have infected me so far. Both systems have
scsi scanners with PrestoPagemanager. Anyway, just my two cents.

Tom
