When typing text, one can type three hyphens (---) at the end of a line and
Word 2000 will automatically insert a bottom border. We do it at school, but
some computers won't do it (including mine at home). I've searched Word and
used the "Help", but can't find anything that "turns it on." Does anyone
know how to get it to do it?

Using this feature is one of the requirements of a lesson out of an Office
2000 textbook. Here's an example of what the text line would look like:

Now is the time for all good men---

After typing the above, a border would appear under the text line with some
space between the lines.
