 I have recently gotten a new XP system.  I have many video files, mostly .wmv and most play ok on my computer but some of this type of file, while they open ok, they are very smeary. Oddly enough when I click to show a thumbnail, it is black... Does anyone know what I can do to correct this? I've tried using Windows Media Player and also IrfanView, but when it's smeary in one, the same is true for the other.
