an update query will do the trick:

query, new, design view
select table with the field you wish to update and click add button
click close button
drag field you wish to update from the table listing to the query grid

click on Query on the main menu
choose Update query
in the query grid you should now see a row called "Update to"
in that space under your field enter a Yes or -1
then click on the ! on the menu bar
close query (save if you wish....)

you are done
