Hello,

Can anyone clarify what the program "loadwc" does?  As far as I know
it is a part of IE4.  Norton Utilities reports it as MS Web Check
Monitor with the actual executable being C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\loadwc.exe.
Outlook Express also appears to use it somehow.

I need to eliminate it as a possible cause of intermittent registry
problems at start-up.

Any help appreciated.
