Hello Gary,

I believe you can crop images in this manner using Photodex's CompuPic and
CompuPic Pro available @ http://www.photodex.com/ .

There are no doubt many other image editing applications that can accomplish
these same tasks (and perhaps many more), but this happens to be the program
with which I have some limited experience.  Good luck.
