I would recommend that you get rid of AOL 9 since you have AOL 8 on your computer.  Every update of AOL, if it isn't absolutely necessary for some compelling reason, is not always an improvement you should have.  If 8 works, why keep screwing up your system, and particularly your registry, by trying to make 9 work?  Not to mention your wasted time.
