I would like to capture some still pictures from mpegs and similar formats.
Can you do that with Mplayer or any other similar applications?  I am using
Media Player version 6.4.07.1112 and it seems an earlier version would let
you make copies of individule shots,  but I haven't been able to with this
version.  After I upgraded the old one I am no longer able to run it even
though it seems to still be there.  I get an error message about the driver.
