don't you mean 256 MB?
256 KB is the amount of RAM your computer seems to be running on?

Subject: [PCSOFT] Windows RAM limit

Hello. I know that there is no limit to the amount of RAM you can put
in a Windows 95/98/2000 PC, but I've heard that Windows can't use more
than 256 KB, no matter what you do? Any opinions?
