This is from the Word Help menu. I found this by looking under "Formatting"
in the contents help, and "Default font" in the index.

"If your document already contains text formatted with the properties you
want to use, select that text.
On the Format menu, click Font.
Select the options you want to apply to the default font. If you selected
text in step 1, the properties you want will appear in the dialog box.
For Help on an option, click the question mark , and then click the option.
Click Default.
Any new document you open will use the font settings you selected."

i think this hhould be an easy question for people so help please
i have a pc with word 2000 on it and am trying to get the default template
to load the font tahoma on it and get it to stay there all the time
,can some one give me precise instructions on this if it can be done? thanks
