BTW, I "only" called them "Archive folders" since you would
not be actively using them "day to day"...
(That is also why they would stay compacted pretty well by themselves...)

Open IE, Right click on Local Folders.
In the popout Menu, Click on New Folder.
Type a "folder name" of your choice in the box.
(It has to be different from the other names.)
Click "OK"
Open any folder you want to _move_ messages from...
Select messages by normal "windows" means. ("Select All" etc, or)
For large numbers of consecutive messages select the first message,
then hit the "Shift" key and while holding - select last message.
Let go of all keys. (The selected messages should ALL be blue...)
Right Click on the blue part and "drag and drop" the messages to any e-mail folder you want.
That is ONE way to do this..
There are various ways to do "som"e of the steps...
After you get good at it, or if you want to learn a different way, you can investigate them.

                                    Good luck, HTH,

>Sounds good. Now, how do I make archive folders in IE please and thank you? I guess what I need are the actual 'how to steps'.
